‘Intelligence’ star Josh Holloway open to Aquaman role in ‘Man of Steel’ sequel
Casting rumors continue for the Man of Steel sequel and one name which keeps popping up is Lost star Josh Holloway, possibly tapped to play Aquaman.
UPDATE: Jason Momoa will indeed play Aquaman after a major change in direction – more HERE
Speaking to IGN on those Aquaman rumors, Holloway stated, “It hasn’t been brought to my attention by my people. Maybe they’re just floating it softly around, but that would be cool! Sure, I think I’m available at the moment as we just wrapped up.”
Holloway is a fan of other superhero films, so he sounds game if the scheduling can work.
” I’m an actor, I like different roles. Batman movies are awesome, Marvel movies are awesome. But we’ll see, I’m on a series right now. I think they usually want to sign you up for several movies and I don’t know if you can do that when you’re committed to a series…”
He’s referring to his new show Intelligence which co-stars Marg Helgenberger – more on the show here.
By the way, the rumors of Jasom Momoa as Aquaman are false, we are told that Momoa has been approached about a role as Doomsday.
