An Illinois man has been found guilty in a 2012 Wisconsin murder case after being caught in Tennessee.

Kody Walsh
Kody Walsh, age 24, of Rockford Illinois was found guilty of first-degree murder, shooting and killing Lori A. Daniels.
Daniels, age 36, was shot twice in the head as a passenger with Ebert Davision, who was giving her a ride home from a bar on September 9, 2012.
Walsh, who was a passenger in the back seat of the car, demanded Davision take him to his house, pistol-whipped the man and then shot as Davision.
He fled in the man’s SUV with Daniels still strapped in the passenger seat. Officers found the Explorer and were lead on a 20-mile, high-speed chase with Walsh firing shots at police. After crashing the vehicle, Walsh crawled over Daniels’ body and fled.
Police was captured by police in Memphis, Tennessee a week after the shooting after another high speed chase.
The jury hearing the case in Winnebago County Court in Rockford, Ill., deliberated for about six hours before rendering the verdict. The jury found Walsh not guilty of attempted murder for firing at Davison and for firing at two police officers.
Walsh now faces up to 45 years in prison and the sentencing hearing is set for April 7.
