‘Hunger Games Mockingjay’ trailer released after SDCC debut
Fans finally get a good preview of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 after several teasers featuring President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and had Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) just days after the debut at SDCC.
Comic-Con fans went crazy over the footage which centers heavily on Plutarch Heavensbee, played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. “She’s the face of this rebellion, they will follow her,” he says of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence).
Snow is banning the Mockingjay symbol as the rebels look for leadership. There are quick shots of some of the cast before the teaser climax which is Katniss being asked if she will fight with the resistance: “I am. I will,” she proclaims before the title card emerges.
