‘Hunger Games Mockingjay part 2’ trailer, poster as #Unite begins

The first teaser for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 landed to give fans their first look at Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen leading the rebellion on Panem in a full-scale war to a final showdown with the Capitol and President Snow.

“Make no mistake, the game isn’t over,” Donald Sutherland’s Snow warns.

Lionsgate released a series of poster using the three-fingered salute and the hashtag #Unite.

hunger_games_mockingjay__part2_tsr_poster-720x1066The posters were placed in some of the world’s high-profile locations which include Times Square in New York, Westfield Centre in London, Colonne di San Lorenzo in Milan, and Novy Arbat Avenue in Moscow.

Based on Susanne Collins’ book, director Francis Lawrence returns to direct Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer and Stanley Tucci. The late Philip Seymour Hoffman also appears in the teaser above as Plutarch Heavensbee.
