‘Hunger Games Catching Fire’ star Jennifer Lawrence talks Mystique, ‘X-Men Days of Future Past’
New summer marks the return of fans’ favorite X-Men character, well most likely, since the new film will unite the cast from X-Men: First Class with the stars of the first three X-Men films.
Talking with IGN, the star of The Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence, discussed returning as the shaft-shifting mutant Mystique for X-Men: Days of Future Past.
“We find Raven, she’s split off from Eric and Charles and she’s kind of her own agent,” says Lawrence, whose portrayal as the young Mystique was one of the highlights of First Class.
“She has one mission of trying to assassinate somebody and it will be her first kill basically, and because we’ve seen her in the future and what she becomes, this is kind of a turning point for her.”
