For instance, for one to travel to the United States, he or she must be granted an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) by the government to stay on the American territory for less than 90 days. To obtain an ESTA, one must apply for it through the ESTA online US website. The application is entirely done online and can even be approved on the same day. ESTA form is electronic and therefore it must be completed and paid for online. To achieve this application, one must have a blue card and a visa at hand. The ESTA form contains four separate section.

These sections consist of the traveler’s details, details regarding the passport on which the traveler plans to enter the United States, questions concerning the trip and also questions about the traveler’s history. Each section must be filled before going to the next part. After loading the division, you can pass through all the information that you have supplied to correct any omission or error. After completing the four steps, one must pay by debit or credit card. It is noticeable that 99% of this application is approved and in the event of any refusal, one can request for a visa. ESTA covers for business and tourist trips only. This authorization is only valid for two years for multiple stays. There is no need for a person to apply for an ESTA if the person already has a visa.

Traveling to Canada is so long as one applies for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) in Eta-Canada visa. An individual should ask for an Eta 3 day before moving to Canada in the completion of the form of application online. Before submitting your application, you must make sure that it is complete and accurate. It should be known that presenting incorrect information could cause a delay or a refusal of the eTA application.

When applying for the authorization, one must read through consent and declaration to understand the rules and regulations concerning traveling into Canada. The applicant shall make a confirmation that he or she has read and followed the rules and regulations and also that the information the applicant has given is accurate, complete and correct. Any misrepresentation is an offense under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and as a result, it may cause removal from Canada or even not to be admitted to Canada at all.

In conclusion, traveling to the United States or Canada has been made easier. All you need is to complete all traveling formalities to be allowed to go.
