‘Homeland’ season 3 set to add 7 new characters, which include a Senator, psychiatrist, grandma and a one night stand
New Homeland season 3 seven new character spoilers revealed as TV Guide teased that the new season will be adding at least 7 new characters to join Claire Danes and Damian Lewis.

The May 13 article confirms that the roles will include a senator, a National Security Adviser,a new psychiatrist,somebody’s old grandmother,and more.
“The Season 3 premiere of Showtime’s Emmy-winning hit will begin shooting in North Carolina at the end of May. Besides the expected new roles of a senator and National Security Adviser, the series is also casting actors to play psychiatrist Dr. Troy Richardson (for Carrie, likely).
A grandmother named Lois (perhaps Brody’s or Jessica’s mom will help with the kids); a couple of girls in therapy plus a handsome young man named Leo (possibly linked to Dana); and a fortysomething guy who ends up being someone’s one-night stand.”
Stay tuned, Season 3 is scheduled to arrive on September 29th in its new 9pm time slot on Showtime.
In addition to Lewis, Danes and Patinkin, cast members Morena Baccarin (Jess Brody), Rupert Friend (Quinn), Jackson Pace (Chris Brody) and Morgan Saylor (Dana Brody) are all confirmed to return.
