Heritage Foundation sends out stop Obamacare meme using ‘RIPD’ Jeff Bridges with guns photo

The Heritage Foundation is attempting to spread the message to “stop Obamacare” by making it an Internet meme.

The conservative think tank, led by former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC), is asking that people Instagram their best anti-Obamacare arguments as part of Heritage’s campaign to not vote for government funding unless the health care law is defunded.

Heritage posted over the weekend on their official Twitter feed and Tumblr, the photo which threatens to unleash a gun-totting character from a Hollywood film if Congress does not deny health care to the millions of Americans who will receive it under Obamacare next year.

Heritage tweeted the image out with the caption “He said #stopobamacare! Are you listening?”

Inappropriate imagery aside, for some unknown reason Heritage used an image from the summer bomb R.I.P.D., which the movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes ranks as one of the worst movies of the year.
