‘Hellboy’ posters, clip tease the arrival of the demon superhero
Fans seem a lot more positive about the upcoming Hellboy reboot following the release of that the trailers and now there is a new clip and four posters to ramp up the promotion, which you can see at the bottom.
In the new footage, Trevor Bruttenholm (Ian McShane), adoptive father of Hellboy (David Harbour), lays out a new mission for the big, red demon/superhero. Watch it below.
The R-rated will likely be a massive hit or a massive bomb, there doesn’t appear to be any hope for an average take (like the earlier films.)
Hellboy arrives in between Shazam! and Avengers: Endgame, so there’s also that.
In addition to Harbour and McShane, the film features Milla Jovovich, Sasha Lane, Daniel Dae Kim and Thomas Haden Church.
Neil Marshall, who has helmed episodes of Game of Thrones, as well as the horror film The Descent, directs.
Hellboy opens on April 12, 2019.
Synopsis: Hellboy is back, and he’s on fire. From the pages of Mike Mignola’s seminal work, this action packed story sees the legendary half-demon superhero (David Harbour, “Stranger Things”) called to the English countryside to battle a trio of rampaging giants. There he discovers The Blood Queen, Nimue (Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil series), a resurrected ancient sorceress thirsting to avenge a past betrayal. Suddenly caught in a clash between the supernatural and the human, Hellboy is now hell-bent on stopping Nimue without triggering the end of the world.
