Harrison Ford confirms he’s open to a return for ‘Blade Runner 2’
One of the greatest science fiction films of all-time may be finally having a sequel as Ridley Scott may be moving ahead on a sequel to Blade Runner.
While promoting his latest film, Ender’s Game, star Harrison Ford confirmed that he would be interested in returning.
“Yeah, we’ve been chatting about it,” says Ford in a recent interview with IGN. “I truly admire Ridley as a man and as a director, and I would be very happy to engage again with him in the further telling of this story.”

Ridley Scott to get Harrison Ford back for ‘Blade Runner 2’?
Scott revealed that the absence of a finished script meant that no decisions had been made on whether Rick Deckard (Ford’s character) would be written into the sequel.
A female main character has been rumored with Scott joking back in 2012 that a cameo or brief appearance by Ford would “be amusing.”
Opening in 1982, Blade Runner is considered one of the greatest science fiction films of all-time. The year was full of great sci-fi films such as Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Tron, Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan and John Carpenter’s The Thing.
