‘Grease’ returns to theaters for 40th anniversary on April 8, April 11 and April 14

Movie fans have been hopelessly devoted to Sandy, Danny and the gang from Rydell High since Grease first hit screens 40 years ago – and now, to celebrate its milestone anniversary, it’s back in more than 700 cinemas around the country. This special theatrical presentation of Grease plays three days only:Sunday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day – with a newly added weekend matinee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.

Grease is part of the yearlong TCM Big Screen Classics series, and to add to the fun, audiences are encouraged to attend screenings in costume to celebrate this cinematic high school reunion. (Please check individual theater rules or restrictions) Tickets are available now at www.FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices.

John TravoltaOlivia Newton-John and an all-star supporting cast star in the blockbuster musical, which will be accompanied by specially-produced commentary by TCM Primetime Host Ben Mankiewicz that plays both before and after the film.

Fans throughout the U.S. will be able to enjoy the event in more than 700 select movie theaters through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network (DBN).
