Ginnifer Goodwin talks ‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, being exhausted
On-screen couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas also celebrated their first child together ahead of Once Upon a Time’s fourth season. Now Goodwin talks about the demands of motherhood and juggling the parenting responsibilities.
According to an Extra report, the first-time mom, who portrays Snow White/Mary Margaret in the TV series, admitted to the reporters about being exhausted during the Once Upon A Time set visit recently held in Vancouver, Canada.
Goodwin shared that she just shows up at work exhausted to play an exhausted Mary Margaret on the set. The writers even have that as part of her role when they ask her how she is doing. “And they’re like, ‘We have a great episode for you coming up’,” Goodwin shared.
There are eight babies who play her son Neal, adding that she can definitely tell them apart.
“That’s a new mom quality I have,” Goodwin said. “I used to be like, ‘babies look like babies.’ And now that I have a baby, I’m like, how does the audience not notice that in every shot, this is a different kid?”
Snow White is really tough on herself and Goodwin explains that concept a bit.
“She believes that she needs to be like this ridiculously, unrealistically perfect, multi-tasking mayor mother… she’s also scared to ask for help.”
She did not that Dallas is a great help in real life.
“He always helps. He’s my knight in shining armour,” Goodwin shared
