Full ‘Gotham’ synopsis, new photos, confirmed for Monday nights
Fox is certainly laying the foundation for fan enthusiasm over their new show Gotham, a prequel to the Batman universe. Last week the first trailer and details arrived and now new photos and full synopsis dropped online Monday.
The first full season of 13 episodes has been approved by the network and now released character photos for fans to drool over in the coming days. All of the major characters are featured, released via CBM.
Gotham is set in the years prior to Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, following the early days of Jim Gordon on the police force. One of the first cases he is assigned to investigate is the murder of the Waynes.
Ben McKenzie stars as Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and Camren Bicondovaas the young Selina Kyle (Catwoman). Robin Taylor is the incarnation of Oswald Cobblepot and Cory Michael Smith will play Edward Nigma.
The series also stars Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne), and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Gotham premieres on Fox this fall, airing on Mondays 8 p.m. ET.

Television. Executive producer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist”) wrote the pilot, which was directed and executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon (the “CSI” franchise, “Nikita”). John Stephens will serve as an executive producer on the series.
