‘Frozen 2’ confirmed after ‘Frozen Fever’ rocks ahead of ‘Cinderella’

Disney has been silent on a sequel to the blockbuster Frozen, but the short Frozen Fever appears to have jumped started the creator’s interest in the project. Just as Frozen Fever is set to play ahead of the new live-action Cinderella, directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee appears to be set for the long-awaited Frozen. 2.

We are so excited about that.”

The cast reunited for the short, so expect Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad to all return and voice Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, while Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee set to direct.

There’s also a Frozen stage show on the way and Frozen Fever will certainly excite audiences and spark new sales of “Little snowball creatures” – all of which will encourage Disney execs to funnel more cash into the franchise.
