Frank Grillo posts Crossbones pic from set of ‘Captain America Civil War’

Marvel is back in production, this time with the third Captain America film, Captain America: Civil War. Now fans get a good look at one of the film’s villains, Crossbones, thanks to the star, Frank Grillo.

frank-grillo-as-brock-rumlow-in-captain-america-the-winter-soldierGrillo was in the recent film, Winter Soldier, as Brock Rumlow, a SHIELD Agent who was secretly part of the Hydra conspiracy and was left for dead after the massive destruction at the close of the film. Rumlow’s new identity, Crossbones, is a key supervillain in Cap’s story arcs.

Daniel Bruhl stars as Baron Zemo, another key Cap villain, likely to be around for a film or two.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man/Tony Stark proves to be an antagonist against Cap and other heroes as the government responds to the devastation from Ultron’s plan and creates a superhero registration.

Civil War also stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp,William Hurt, and Martin Freeman.

Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters on May 6th.
