Fort Walton Beach Publix recalls ground meat after pen accidentally falls into grinding machine

The Publix Store, 0383, at 421 Mary Esther Cut Off NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 has instituted a recall of a variety of ground meats made on April 19 after a ink pen accidentally fell into the meat grinding machine, according to a Publix recall notice yesterday.

The store says there is a potential for foreign material to have been introduced into ground products prepared on this date. Products made on this day with a sell by date of April 21, 2013 should not be consumed and returned to the store for a full refund.

The following ground meat products are affected by the recall:
