First photo of Cogsworth and Lumiere in new ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Disney will continue to adapt their classic films into live-action feature films and 2017 will see Beauty and the Beast arrive to the big screen.

Fans now get their first look at the iconic characters: Cogsworth and Lumiere. This new film stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Audra McDonald with Ian McKellen and Emma Thompson.

Lumiere will be played by Ewan McGregor and Cogsworth played by Ian McKellen. The photo is apparently included on the Beauty and the Beast: 25th Anniversary Edition home video release, which hits stores on September 20th, 2016.

According to the Facebook of producer Jack Morrissey (found via io9), this image is actually concept art: “These designs are close but may not be final.”

Beauty And The Beast opens in U.S. theaters on March 17, 2017.
