First looks at Robin Taylor Lord’s Penguin, Sean Pertwee as Alfred in ‘Gotham’
Fox unveiled official looks at the cast of characters from its upcoming prequel series Gotham, this time a villain and the mentor of the orphaned Bruce Wayne.
This is the first look at The Penguin (Robin Taylor Lord) and Alfred (Sean Pertwee).
Gotham is the origin story of Comissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie), beginning with his days as a rookie detective in Gotham City as he attempts to navigate the layers of corruption and strikes up a relationship with a young billionaire. That young billionaire is indeed a pre-adolescent Bruce Wayne, but the crux of the story will focus on the city of Gotham itself, which is populated by the famous comics villains—including The Penguin. Fans may be eager to see the full costume, but Lord’s resemblance is pretty consistent with the DC Comics’ mythos and the younger Alfred is an ex-Marine from London who now loyally serves the Waynes.
Below are also the photo of Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and Camren Bicondova as the young Selina Kyle (Catwoman).
The series also stars Zabryna Guevara, Erin Richards, David Mazouz, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Gotham premieres on Fox this fall.
