First look at ‘Red 2’ as official photo gets released

The first official still from Dean Parisot’s anticipated comic book movie sequel “Red 2” has hit the Internet on Saturday.

Lionsgate’s first pic released in Entertainment Weekly features Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Mary-Louise Parker.

Few details have been revealed regarding the sequel, which reunites a retired assassin with former colleagues including Helen Mirren and Malkovich.

They will return for the sequel alongside newcomers Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-hun Lee and David Thewlis.

Willis’ model wife Emma Heming-Willis is set for an onscreen cameo after filming a scene in November.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, she reveals, “I made an appearance in Bruce’s film… Saying it now before it ends up on the cutting room floor! Red 2.”

“Red 2” opens August 2, 2013.
