First ‘Jurassic World’ trailer, new photos star giant dinosaur, action
Universal has released the first Jurassic World trailer and there’s ton of action and intrigue to excite fans as Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt will headline the new cast.
The movie takes place 22 years after Jurassic Park and is set on a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. Steven Spielberg returns as the executive producer to the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series.Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
The “Disney World” feel of the amusement park as so believable with a SeaWorld splash zone to boot. Below are some photos as well, showing the great CG (so far in the trailer) and all of the characters.
Bryce Dallas Howard also stars with Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, and Judy Greer.
Pratt is the dino wrangler, Howard is a brains while Khan and D’Onofrio share the role of “villain” with a new array of creatures.
Jurassic World opens in theaters on June 12, 2015.
