Carpenter’s character, Deb is having a rough time to start off season eight. TV Guide did share more spoilers about her character, and things will not get any easier for her soon. The good news is it might not get any worse for her either. The site revealed the following comments by executive producer Sara Colleton:
“Consider her shooting El Sapo her rock bottom, through which Vogel will help her. ‘It’s when her PTSD is at the worst and it’s what makes her realize that she is in desperate need of help.”
The help will come from Dr. Vogel, and it will be a process Deb goes through during the episodes to come.
Dexter will continue to air on Sunday nights on Showtime.
