‘Fear the Walking Dead’ teaser stars Frank Dillane running for his life
AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff series Fear The Walking Dead gives fans a teaser with the clip, titled “Nick’s Escape,” which stars Frank Dillane’s (Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince) character Nick running — very fast.
Nick jumps/falls out a window with his open shirt blowing in the wind, slips through a hole in a fence, pulls up his falling pants, and hopefully is able to outrun “it” or “them” as the teaser ends.
Shot in Vancouver, Canada, Fear is set in Los Angeles during the “outbreak” and conversion of humans into walkers.
Showrunner Dave Erikson previously shed a little light on the plot of the new series, saying “We’re covering the period of time when Rick was in his coma, so we’re getting to see things go sideways in a way that he did not,” he stated. “… We’re telling our story through the filter of this highly dysfunctional blended family. It’s about the shark you don’t see. It’s the education of our characters as to what is going on and how the world is unraveling and what is happening to people.”
Dillane stars with Cliff Curtis (Missing, Gang Related), Kim Dickens (Gone Girl,Sons of Anarchy), Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) and Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black).
