Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace back for ‘Taken 3’ as Grace goes to Wall Street drama
Liam Neeson is in and now co-stars Famke Jansson and Maggie Grace are confirmed for Taken 3.
Deadline reported today that Jansson will be back with her “helpless housewife” skills and Grace was confirmed yesterday.
Grace is also set as the female lead opposite Charlie Cox in CBS‘ untitled Wall Street drama pilot, executive produced by John Cusack.
This drama will be set in the world of Wall Street power and money, the project centers Jackson (Grace), a smart, sophisticated, Wall Street hedge fund trader. Grace will play Jaime, a newly hired in-house legal counsel at the hedge fund who is smart, ambitious, savvy and has a conscience.
Deadline says the actress was able to close a deal after a lengthy negotiation that involved synching up the dates of the pilot and Taken 3.
The Taken franchise has earned over $600 million worldwide and Neeson is set to make $20 million for the new film.
Director Olivier Megaton is back and while nothing is in stone, the film is expect to arrive in 2015. Forest Whitaker is also rumored to be attached.
