False teachings on prayer, losing your salvation, the seven days of Creation
Many people, who have been told that they are saved because they prayed “the sinner’s prayer”, will argue with you concerning their need to “back up” and be converted the correct way. They fail to understand (or acknowledge) that in order to be in line with what Paul had written to the churches, you first have to get in line with what Peter and Paul preached to sinners, which is repentance, water baptism in the name of (the Lord) Jesus, and receiving the Holy Ghost with the Spirit making an audible sound (tongues).
As this article has stated, gentiles have inherited heavy doses of lies, and much of that has been deep rooted in (false traditional) gentile Christian teachings, and those that stubbornly refuse to change and accept the correct path will be lost and sent to torment.
Another false teaching is that “you can’t lose your salvation”.
Oh really? Tell that to Ananias, and to Sapphira his wife (Acts 5:1-11).
That is the same type of lie that Satan told Eve (“you will not surly die”). Evil men, being wolves among the sheep, have been teaching that lie for years, and ignorant people have been falling for it. They think that they can follow any jackleg minister’s rules (or lack thereof), and Yehovah is going to accept it.
They are dead wrong.
The Bible clearly tells us more than once that “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezek. 18:20), and “For the wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23). You can’t live any kind of way, trying to turn “grace” into a license to commit sin. If those people were correctly “born of the water, and of the Spirit” in the first place, they would hardly be committing sin.
There is about a 6% chance that properly converted sinners to saints might sin during their later lifetime, or fall into a snare. To address those rare occasions, is what confession is for, and what John was speaking about in 1st John 1:9.
There is a long line of false teachings, some of which are not as easily recognized.
For instance, many teach that Genesis contains the “seven days of creation”.
Others teach that those days are just an allegory, and not to be taken literally.
Both are wrong.
The seven days in Genesis were 24-hr literal days, but were taken from seven different weeks, which in turn were the beginning of seven different time periods. They are not linear, and are in the order of the appointed times (feasts) given to Israel, starting with the Fourth Day (Passover). The Fourth Day was Wednesday of Creation Week. The following six days were taken from subsequent restoration periods. That’s how we got the fossil record.
For over twenty-one years, the Truth of Genesis has been known, but pastors, priests, and rabbis have been hiding it from the laity.
They don’t understand the Genesis text themselves, and they don’t want anyone else showing them or their laity what the truth is. They seem to be in league with the Atheists.
Rather than to end the creation/evolution controversy, they want the question to linger in people’s minds, for some evil reason. But come Judgment Day, they are going to pay, and pay dearly.
In the next half of this chapter, we bring this home and expose more lies and hypocrisy.
