Equestrian Toni Leviste denies connection of his father Gov. Antionio Leviste to Sinaloa drug syndicate
Below is a statement of Toni Leviste, a well-known equestrian and daughter of former Batangas Gov. Antonio Leviste. The former governor has just released in jail, but because of Sinaloa drug syndicate issue, he is in trouble again.
In an interview with ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, his daughter, Toni Leviste clarified issues between the syndicate and his father, she said the farm lot where the Sinaloa drug syndicate was caught by the police operating a shabu storage facility is not for his father Antonio Leviste.
“The development is a farm subdivision developed by my uncle, but he doesn’t own all the farm lots in said subdivision and I’m not sure who owns that particular lot, but definitelym my dad has nothing at all to do with this development, much less the lessor of said lot. The family’s horse farm is in another location in Lipa.”
According to the report, the shabu storage facility was raided during Christmas day. Reports added that three people were arrested in the raid including a suspected big-time drug trafficker, Gary Tan. As of this morning, the local police men who raided the ranch in Lipa, Batangas are still investigating the case.
