Elliot Rodger identified as Santa Barbara gunman, killed six people
An attorney for a Hollywood director Peter Rodger says the family believes their son is responsible for a shooting rampage near a Santa Barbara, California, university campus. Elliot Rodger’s disturbing video has proven to be key in the investigation.
Elliot and six others are dead as a drive-by shooter went on the nighttime rampage near the University of California, Santa Barbara. The attack left seven others wounded. The Telegraph UK posted the video, check it out below.
Immediately after the shooting, police reported they were investigating a YouTube video of “a man describing a plan to kill women” for “retribution” because of rebuffs by female students at college.
Then attorney Alan Shifman went public on behalf of the Rodger family stating that “the family has not yet seen his body, but they have been told he was killed and believe he killed six people and injured seven others.”
The Telegraph writes that Elliot, 22, created a “dystopian drama when he embarked on a gun deadly rampage – just hours after posting a video online declaring war on the comfortable Californian world he had grown up in.”
Speaking of loneliness and a lack of sex as contributions to his murderous rampage. “I’ve had to rot in loneliness. It’s not fair,” he says before describing the “injustice” of women not liking him as a “supreme gentleman.”
Peter Rodger was an assistant director on The Hunger Games film.

New evidence tells that Elliot Rodger was part of a group that subscribed to the hating of women, who blamed women for their misfortune and woes. Could this be the instigating moment which led to the shoot out? He also posted other disturbing videos where he wondered out aloud why women hated him?
