Dr Mark McKenna Opens OVME Clinic in Buckhead

OVME is set to change the medical aesthetic experience this March during the 2018 opening. OVME offers minimally invasive procedures in Atlanta that will change the self-confidence of patients. Headed by Dr. Mark McKenna, OVME will bring luxury treatments to Buckhead.

Dr. Mark McKenna is an industry leader who recently made a splash with his sale of ShapeMed to LifeTime Fitness.

The Buckhead location will have four luxury treatment rooms that are all private. A key focus on privacy, the office is secluded and will have individual consultations that allow patients to undergo aesthetic treatments with confidence.

OVME treatments will evolve over time as a leader in innovation. Dr. Mark McKenna will move away from a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. The clinic plans to offer the latest in neurotoxin injection, facial services, fillers and Vivace microneedling.

Body and health services will additionally be offered with the inclusion of PRP and testosterone replacement therapy to help males fight hair loss.

DNA analysis will be provided in an innovative, breaking way to offer weight management. This service, along with many others, will be available at the clinic.

“Our team has deconstructed every aspect of the medical aesthetic consumer journey and we asked ourselves how we can better serve our clients,” McKenna started in an interview. “We are doing deep dives into design, technology and data to provide a uniquely curated experience for our patients.”

OVME will act like an Uber for cosmetic treatments.

The app offered by OVME will connect cosmetic patients with freelance doctors who make house calls on demand. It’s a new, custom way for patients who want the utmost in privacy to have house calls for their medical aesthetics.

OVME, according to McKenna, raised $4 million, primarily from Equity38 to help the concept come to fruition. The investment firm’s money will be used to help McKenna and his team develop two of the company’s first clinics: one in Atlanta, one in Nashville. The firm’s investment will also be used to develop its mobile app.

The company plans to create a network of medical providers across the country that will connect aesthetic doctors with patients.

Doctors will be sourced from plastic surgery society meetings and large medical trade shows. Midlevel practitioners will also be targeted directly on Facebook. Depending on the state and the requirements, nurse practitioners and physician assistants may also be targeted.

OVME’s app will come out after the company opens its doors in March 2018.

The 1,500-square-foot space will include the four treatment rooms mentioned earlier, private areas where patients will receive their own personal consultations and a retail space for skincare products.

OVME plans to give back to the community by donating a portion of all services to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The company’s initial investment round will allow it to open up two of locations and develop the app, which patients and freelance doctors can download. Long-term plans for the company include expanding to more locations nationally, with the goal of becoming a national leader in boutique cosmetic services.
