‘Divergent’ teaser reveals menacing Kate Winslet, Shailene Woodley kissing and fighting

The highly anticipated Divergent got a teaser trailer really showcasing the formidable Kate Winslet. Based on the popular teen novel series, star Shailene Woodley heads a cast headed for lots of fighting and some kissing.

Clips of combat, kissing and Woodley walking from skyscraper to skyscraper are all crameed into the short teaser.

The books by Veronica Roth are reaching out to the Twilight, The Hunger Games fans. Lionsgate, which is releasing the film, is planning a franchise around the novels.

Woodley, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Miles Teller, Maggie Q, Tony Goldwyn, Ashley Judd, and Winslet.

Divergent arrives in theaters on March 21, 2014

Synopsis: DIVERGENT is a thrilling action-adventure film set in a future where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. Tris Prior (Woodley) is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all Divergents, she must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it’s too late.
