Discovery’s ‘Fast N’ Loud’ returns in September
Motor Mondays on Discovery are about to get a whole lot bigger when car fanatics Richard Rawlings, Aaron Kaufman and the entire Gas Monkey Garage crew return with new builds and new episodes of FAST N’ LOUD on Monday, September 7 at 9pm ET only on Discovery.
Richard Rawlings, the motor mastermind behind Gas Monkey Garage, and Aaron Kaufman, the mechanical prodigy who brings former hot rods and classic cars back to life, travel from the back roads of Rawlings’ native Texas to surrounding states and beyond, scouring barns, backyards, swap meets and open fields in search of rare rides. Once Richard wheels and deals for the best price, the real work begins back at the garage. Aaron and the guys race against the clock – whether to meet a deadline for a major auto event or the demands of a tough client – to return abandoned and neglected cars to their former glory.
Last season, Fast N’ Loud ranked as cable’s #1 unscripted series on Monday nights across key demos of M25-54 and M18-49.
This season begins with a new mantra for Richard: “Big Risk, Big Reward,” and he will roll the dice on some of Gas Monkey Garage’s most expensive builds ever, while Aaron and his team attempt to conquer new technologies to create one-of-a kind masterpieces.
Richard starts his quest to build bigger and better cars by scoring a ’78 Cutlass, so Aaron can build Gas Monkey’s first ever lowrider – something he’s never attempted before. Richard and Aaron also hit the road to pick up a classic red ‘68 Cadillac convertible, giving it the luxury treatment in a risky bid to attract a higher caliber of buyer – even as costs escalate. Later, Richard heads to Kentucky to look at a prime ‘70 Ferrari 365, as his team attempts to soup up a near-totaled 2005 Ford GT. Richard also lands in Camaro heaven when he discovers a barn full of 16 vintage specimens.
With personalities bigger and louder than the cars themselves, Richard and Aaron rev up Motor Mondays to unprecedented levels on this brand new season of FAST N’ LOUD.
