Director Josh Trank says ‘The Fantastic Four’ origin changes rumored on Internet are false
Over the past several weeks, rumors have increased over the details surrounding the reboot of The Fantastic Four.
The summary, which first came to light a month ago, has Reed Richards and Ben Grimm gaining powers through a freak accident on board Richards’s experimental rocket, and then being joined by Sue and Johnny Storm–a brother/sister duo who already have powers. The complete “false” synopsis is listed below.
Now director Josh Trank turns to twitter to say, no these rumors are false.

Ben becomes a monstrous, craggy humanoid with orange, rock-like skin and super-strength. However, the two end up being owned by the government and used as weapons.
