Denny Phillips, man accused of killing six people in 2009 including ‘Cathouse’ star, Brooke Phillips, appears in court
A man charged with murdering six people, including a prostitute featured on HBO’s “Cathouse” series, appeared in an Oklahoma County courtroom Tuesday morning, according to a News9.com report.
On Nov. 9, 2009, Cage fighter, meth manufacturer and ex-con Denny Phillips shot down four people, execution style, in an Oklahoma City home, then set the house on fire.
Among the dead included 22-year-old Brooke Phillips, who had worked as a prostitute at the legal brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City and was featured on HBO’s “Cathouse” series. Also murdered was 22-year-old Milagrous Barrera, 25-year-old Jennifer Ermey and 32-year-old Casey Mark Barrientos.
Phillips and Ermey were pregnant at the time of the killing which lead prosecutors to charge Denny Phillips with two additional counts or murder.
Cagefighter, David Allen Tyner was sentenced to life in prison in May after pleading guilty to six first-degree murder charges in the case.
Oklahoma County judge, Fred Doak has set a Feb. 15 preliminary hearing for Phillips. In addition to six counts of murder, Phillips also faces one count of conspiracy to commit murder
