Dejuan Anderson, Ft Meyers man, pulls out machete in police station, gets tasered, then arrested VIDEO
A man was tasered after he walked into the Fort Myers Police Department on Wednesday morning and threatened officers with a machete.
The suspect, identified as Dejuan Jarrell Anderson, age 20, entered the police building Wednesday morning and asked for an officer by name.
Anderson then took out the weapon in front of officers, cut away the wire on the first taser attempt, but a second officer was successful and took down the young man.
Anderson is facing two counts of assault on an officer, one count of fraud and a count of resisting an officer without violence stemming from this morning’s incident.
He was also arrested in March on a battery charge.
