Deena Jakoub interview: Winter Jam 2015, Veridia, ‘Furious Love’

Winter Jam is back and set to go on tour with ten amazing Christian artists and speaker Tony Nolan. Deena Jakoub, and her band Veridia, will be joining Skillet, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, Building 429, Family Force 5, Newsong, For King & Country, Blanca, About a Mile and thousands of fans for Winter Jam 2015.

“It was just amazing,” Deena begins, describing her experience on the West Coast Winter Jam tour and “sea of people” packing arenas for praise and worship.Veridia band photo

Riding high from their hits “Disconnected” and “Furious Love,” Veridia will part of this amazing tour.

“The unity of the audience,” she says of the experience and how it blows her away, noting the different styles of music.

Deena talks about Jam church on the tour and then revealing more insight in “Furious Love.”

“It was written out of a place of self worth,” she confesses and then talked about “self images issues…everyone is figuring out who they are…don’t have to prove myself to the world…created flaws and all and I should be grateful for those things…they keep me set apart from the world.”
