Darrick Grissom, Antonio Johnson latest arrested in Ft Bragg soldier’s murder
Police in Fayetteville have apprehended two more men Saturday wanted in the shooting death of a Fort Bragg soldier.
Darrick Lynn Grissom and Antonio Terrell Johnson are the last of four people charged in the April 22 robbery and shooting death of Spc. Danny Ray McFadden.
McFadden, age 29, was one of over a dozen people at a house party when armed men showed up and robbed them. Police say McFadden was shot and killed, while one other guest was injured.
Police spokesman Lt. Todd Joyce said officers acted on a tip, went to a house, and executed a search warrant. Joyce says Grissom and Johnson were found hiding in a closet and were taken into custody without incident.
Both men, age 24, are charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bail in the Cumberland County Detention Center.
Anthony Dwayne Hair, age 25, was taken into custody April 25 and Thomas Wayne McCarley, age 24, was cooperative when he surrendered April 26, court records say.
McFadden was from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, and was killed while serving at the National Guard at Fort Bragg
