‘Dark Knight Rises’ star Juno Temple joins Nic Cage for ‘Wild Side’
“Ghost Rider” star Nicolas Cage and “Dark Knight Rises” star Juno Temple will co-star in a road trip action film directed by Jesse Baget. Johnny Knoxville is also onboard as the “Wild Side” production will be this summer.
Deadline reports that Baget co-wrote the script with Stefania Moscato. The pair worked together on “Breathless” which starred Val Kilmer, Ray Liotta and Gina Gershon and 2011’s comedy “Cellmates” starring Tom Sizemore and Hector Jimenez.
Comic book fans know Cage from “Ghost Rider,” “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,” and “Kick Ass”. Temple has a mysterious role in this summer’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” the finale to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Her character is Holly Robinson who has a long, diverse history in DC Comics from juvenile prostitute to Selena Kyle’s roommate and a Catwoman sidekick.
Filming will begin on July 23, 2012.
Here is the story synopsis:
