‘Dark Knight Rises’ cast continues to grow, adds Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klanttenhoff and Burn Gorman
Christopher Nolan and “The Dark Knight Rises” continues to steal the headlines away from the 2011 summer movies as yesterday three more cast members were announced.
Daniel Sunjata, TV star from “Rescue Me”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Sex and the City” and “The Bronx is Burning”, was added to the cast. Variety reports that Sunjata will play “a courageous special forces operative would be vital to the story” – but no other sources have that information.
Diego Klanttenhoff and Burn Gorman also onboard for “Rises” as Klanttenhoff will play a rookie cop and Gorman’s role is undetermined. Klanttenhoff recently starred in Showtime’s “Homebound” while Gorman was in “Layer Cake” and BBC’s “Torchwood”.
Fans are clamoring for any news related to the “Dark Knight” sequel.
Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman, all return with the newcomers Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple and Josh Pence.
The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled for release on July 20, 2012.
