‘Daredevil’ season 3 poster, teasers and photos, first look at Vincent D’Onofrio return as Kingpin

Netflix has revealed a new trailer for Daredevil Season 3 offering up some first looks at the footage, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock back in his black “ninja” attire, but more importantly, the clip reveals a premiere date.

The message in the new poster, “Let there be darkness,” can be tied to this footage. Check out the poster below.

“You can suffocate evil, starve it, lock it behind bars,” he says, “but it will find a way to come back even stronger. There’s only one true way to end the evil, to finish it for good. Let the devil out.”

Season 3 picks up after the events of The Defenders, which saw Matt Murdock crushed beneath the ruins of a collapsing skyscraper but later waking up surrounded by nuns.

The “Born Again” story follows the revelation of Daredevil’s secret identity after Karen Page sells the knowledge to his enemies, which Kingpin then uses to destroy Matt’s life. Driven to paranoia and insanity, Matt is saved by Sister Maggie, who turns out to be his mother.

Returning full-time to the series is Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk. The Kingpin is featured in the other teaser, titled “Burn.”

The new season introduces DD’s archenemy Bullseye.

The new season stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Joanne Whalley, Jay Ali, and Wilson Bethel.

Daredevil season 3 will be available October 19.

Here is a new official synopsis for Daredevil Season 3:

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero.
