The man Delaware State Police called a suspect in the murder of a Bucks County mother inside a Dewey Beach, Delaware motel room over the weekend was found dead in North Jersey Tuesday.

The three-state saga started with the murder of Danielle Mehlman, 26, at the Atlantic Oceanside Motel was Pawan Kumar, 26, of the Stratford Apartments on the 3000 block of Naamans Road in Wilmington, police said.

PhillyBurbs.com chronicles the story:

Mehlman, 26, was killed Monday by Pawan Kumar, 26, of Wilmington, Del., in the Atlantic Oceanside Motel along Route 1 in Dewey Beach, state police said.

My heart breaks for her family. We live in such a crazy world that we really have to be overly cautious.

I dont think he killed him for ‘no’ reason. he might have got ticked off by the fact that after all the expensive gifts he gave and she accepted, she still does not consider ‘worthy’ of her. To me it seems a mean selfish woman was killed by an emotional egoistic guy.

  3. Niton says:

its very strange 1) two people seeing each other for sometime. 2) One kills other apparently for no reason. 3) The police blames other and even gets an arrest warrant so soon. 4) The suspected killer is all of a sudden missing. 5) All of a sudden the suspect is found dead due to overdose of drugs… All this seems very fishy, no one knows if suspect ever took drugs before or not (as he was an IT professional well educated, his partner was a respected school teacher) and being aware of that so many cops behind him he will go to the drug dealers to get drugs! He may not be the one who killed, may be the killer is still out there free and laughing on police and others after killing two good friends…
