‘Criminal Minds’ star Paget Brewster set to appear on ‘Mom’ season 7
Following the filming of Criminal Minds, Paget Brewster is headed back into comedy this fall, set to appear on Mom season 7.
In a new post on Twitter, Brewster herself confirmed that she is going to be appearing on the Anna Faris comedy, and she went so far as to refer to all of her co-stars as “welcoming, hilarious, and kind.”
Mom stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney. TVLine has confirmed that Brewseter will be guest-starring in at least two episodes of Mom Season 7, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9/8c
TV Line notes: “Specifically, the recurring Another Period funny lady will be playing Veronica Stone, Christy’s new boss at the law firm. Veronica is described as a most demanding senior partner with high expectations and a lot of energy — which she channels into yelling at poor Christy.”
Matt Carter detailed her resume: “Paget is no stranger to comedy; she appeared on Friends many years back before eventually also stopping by Another Period and then a run on Community as Frankie Dart. Sitcoms are a particularly fun gig since you get an opportunity to feed off of energy in a way that you rarely do when it comes to any other job. What’s also fun about this gig for now is that it feels reasonably open-ended — we imagine that there could be a lot of appearances coming, depending on what happens within the story.”
Criminal Minds is set to come to a close in 2020.
