Cindy Morgan discusses ‘Tron’ ‘Caddyshack’ the Chevy Chase song and ‘Amazing Stories’

Cindy Morgan played two iconic characters in popular films Tron and Caddyshack. Additionally Morgan has a long list of roles in various television shows: Matlock, Falcon Crest, The Love Boat, The Fall Guy and Amazing Stories.

Discussing her career with Dispatch Radio, Morgan began by discussing her role as Lori, Yori and the filming of Tron.

“It was very, very tightly choreographed…Everything had to be shot in black, black and white, but the set was entirely black. So a sound stage is roughly the size of warehouse. An open, completely empty…nothing there. The floor was black,  the ceilings, the walls, everything was completely black,” she explains.

Later she adds, “I would get these lines that made pretty much no sense. (LAUGHS)”

Morgan expresses the details, recounting unique story after story, transitioning to her other big film role – Caddyshack.

“It was Animal House on a golf course,” she laughs. “I’m not exaggerating.”

Working with director Harold Ramis and the cast which starred Ted Knight, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase would certainly result in fun stories.

Perhaps the best and most amusing is Cindy recounting the famed sun tan lotion scene and The Dispatch’s request to discuss Chevy Chase’s song.

“Look at my eyes during the scene,” she says as she explains how she was duped into the single shot of these classic moments.
