Chris Pine endures ‘Jack Ryan’ reshoots in New York with elbow pads and running down pedestrians

The Star Trek Into Darkness star Chris Pine will be heading another big franchise as the main character from the popular Tom Clancy novels.

Simply titled Jack Ryan, Pine will be joined by Kevin Costner, Keira Knightley, Kenneth Branagh, and Colm Feore. Branagh, who directed Thor, will be helming the film as well as playing the villain named Viktor Cherevin.

This weekend the crew was in the Big Apple filming some “reshoots” and Pine was wearing blue elbow pads for the shoot and turning heads on the streets. Pine reportedly got behind the wheel of an NYPD police van that navigated through traffic while pedestrians ducked for cover.
