Chris Hemsworth stars in first ‘Blackhat’ trailer, images
Legendary and Universal have released the first trailer for Michael Mann‘s new film, Blackhat. Chris Hemsworth stars and is featured in several of the photos released.
Hemsworth plays “a furloughed convict” who joins “his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network.” There are few details on the action film other than the global settings and the commentary on the digital age. The official synopsis is below.

Hemsworth has become a Hollywood A-lister after his role as Thor in the Marvel Universe. Hemsworth returns for Avengers: Age of Ultron and is set for a third Thor film in the third phase of Marvel films. He is also set to return for The Huntsman, a sequel to 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman as well as Ron Howard’s whaling adventure titled Heart of the Sea – also due in 2015.
The film also stars Viola Davis, Tang Wei, Wang Leehom, William Mapother, John Ortiz, Ritchie Coster, Jason Butler Harner and Sara Finley.
