Check out the final ‘Wonder Woman’ trailer, new photos

The extended Wonder Woman sneak peek which aired during Gotham has now been officially released online. Separately, several new photos promoting the film were also released.

The promo features mostly previously seen footage, but there are a few new shots: a glimpse of a young Diana (Gal Gadot) on a horse, more training on Themyscira, and a bit of sword-related comedy.

Chris Pine is featured in one photo, pointing a rifle as Steve Trevor is immersed in the action.

The movie’s villain has been revealed to be Ares, played by David Thewlis.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the movie is set for release on June 2nd, 2017.

The film also stars Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Eugene Brave Rock, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui.

Official synopsis:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
