Challen Cates talks ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West,’ Liam Neeson and Seth MacFarlane

Challen Cates photoActress Challen Cates is going from the mom on TV’s Big Time Rush to a role on Seth MacFarlane’s new comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West.

Cates spoke with The Global Dispatch via Dispatch Radio to discuss the film, working with MacFarlane and co-stars Liam Neeson, Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried.

The western comedy centers on As a cowardly farmer MacFarlane, who begins to fall for the mysterious new woman (Theron) in town, he must put his new-found courage to the test when her husband, a notorious gun-slinger, announces his arrival – he is played by Neeson.

Challen tallks about the filming, Charlize Theron’s hair on set, her son having a role in the film also and of course, MacFarlane juggling acting and directing.

She continues to discuss her family, working alongside her husband, Aaron McPherson, and her role on Nickelodeon’s hit show Big Time Rush.
