‘Carrie’ Chloe Grace Moretz discusses her desire to be in ‘Star Wars Episode VII’
While promoting her return as Hit Girl in Kick-Ass 2 Chloe Moretz discussed her passion to be a part of the Star Wars franchise.
MTV News’ Josh Horowitz sat down with Moretz, he had to ask if there was still any truth to the rumors of Lucasfilm seeking the young star and while she carefully dodged the tougher questions by admitting that she’s “interested,” there still does seem to be some potential.
“I mean, obviously there’s interest. It’s ‘Star Wars’! I’d kill to be a part of that franchise, but I don’t know, J.J., I’ll give you my phone number. You can text me.”
Star Wars Episode VII is said to follow the original trilogy with a leaked cast list that points to the solo twins training alongside Luke Skywalker.
The two roles seem ideal for Hit Girl:
Late teenage girl, independent, good sense of humour, also… physically fit .
Second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit.
With a planned early 2014 start date looming for production, that script and the cast will need to come together quickly if they want to meet the deadline for the already-packed summer 2015.
I almost forgot it… #chloe4starwars
