Burger King rolls out the new Bacon sundae

Burger King, Home of the Whopper, rolls out the new “Bacon Sundae.”

Thursday the second largest fast food chain rolls out the new sandwiches, but a surprising sweet snack.

The BK press release announced city themed sandwiches, Memphis pulled pork, Texas BBQ and Carolina BBQ, but the headline grabber is a new pork product.

Bacon Sundae
This limited-time soft serve dessert took Nashville, TN by storm earlier this year and is now available nationwide to satisfy every sweet tooth. The sweet and savory dessert features the rich and creamy vanilla BK® soft serve, drizzled with chocolate fudge, caramel and topped with bacon crumbles, complete with a thick-cut, hardwood smoked bacon garnish. (Suggested retail price starts at $2.49)

It has 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar, but we’re guessing that customers will not turn down a chance to try to new menu item.
