Bryan Robinson, Tyzick Wall arrested for Stephen Gorney murder, found in hot tub

Two Florida 17-year-old boys have been charged with first degree murder after a decomposing body was found in the home of a missing man in a hot tub.

Bryan Robinson and Tyzick Wall were both arrested Tuesday in connection with the dead body discovered the highly decomposed body of man on Tuesday, who has been confirmed to be the homeowner, Stephen Gorney.

Gorney, 54, had not been seen for several days. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office says the boys actually told people about their crime.

“Several witnesses had actually heard the suspects blabbing about how they committed this,” said Lt. Brad Smith, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators discussed the poor condition of the victim’s remains, which delayed identification of the body.

Gorney was a house painter who lived by himself in a mobile home.

“You automatically have to think about the future of these two juveniles and the decision that they made here, ended the life of this victim, and ended their lives.Ya know? What future do they have now?” Smith said.

Detectives believe the teens targeted Gorney for money he kept in the house.

“The suspects live in the area,” said Sgt. Steven Casada, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office. “They’ve done some work at the homeowners residence and have hung out there.”

Deputies said two to three weeks ago, the teens went to the house in the middle of the night, stole the man’s cash, van, and two motorcycles, and then beat him to death.

“After doing that, after ransacking the residence and getting everything they wanted, they proceeded to drag him into the hot tub and left him for dead,” said Smith.

    Stay off drugs kids.

  2. R.Bowman says:

I do not know either of these boys, but seeing this in the newspaper, lead me to look it up online to see what I can further find out, but all I have to say is, NOBODY is perfect, EVERYONE makes mistakes, some worse than others. But no one knows what these boys have been thru prior, to lead them to the decisions that they made.

True and now they deserve a fail trial to endure the consequences of their actions. Hopefully they will serve their time, find redemption and get a second lease on life sometime later

It’s pretty sickening knowing I went to school with Tyzick wall since primary school.. reading all this makes my stomach churn. Then again, I always knew him and Bryan Robinson would never amount to anything. Wall hung out with the wrong crowd, as well as drug usage. Robinson always gave me a weird feeling when he was in my classes, or even walked past me.
