British Islamic State Muslim, Sally Jones, calls for beheading of Christians

A British female Islamic State (IS) member has taken to Twitter to call for the beheading of Christians. Monday’s message threatened Christians and echoed the violence from the Sunni Muslim extremists.

Sally Jones, a forty-year-old Muslim convert, immigrated to Syria last year and has joined IS. She now uses the Islamic name of Umm Hussain al-Britani on Twitter. 

 
“You Christians all need beheading with a nice blunt knife and stuck on the railings at Raqqa…Come here I’ll do it for you!”
 
While this post has since been removed, there were several other threatening posts on Jones’ Twitter account.

A post on Monday (Sept. 1) says, “Shutting our Twitters later…We fed you all enough.” 
 
Her Twitter bio features a quote from Osama bin Laden: “If our messages could reach you by words, then they wouldn’t have travelled by planes”.
  
Jones was exposed to jihadi culture when she met a British Muslim extremist Junaid Hussain online. Hussain, 20, is suspected to be one of two British men that killed American photojournalist James Foley.
 
He was convicted for releasing personal information about Tony Blair online. He also blocked a government anti-terror hotline by sending 100 prank calls to the line. He travelled to Syria in July 2013 while on police bail from an alleged violent disorder offense.
 
Some experts are claiming that Jones and Hussain are now married.
