Brazilian Woman dies on American Airline flight from Sao Paulo to Texas
A woman died on a plane bound for Texas Wednesday. American Airlines Flight 962 took off from Sao Paulo, Brazil and was set to land in Dallas. However, after the passenger died aboard the plane, it was diverted to an airport in Houston.

Houston police spokeswoman Jodi Silva says homicide detectives responded to George Bush Intercontinental Airport just before daybreak Wednesday found no signs of trauma on the woman.
A spokesperson with the Houston Police Department confirmed to The Global Dispatch that the woman is a 25-year-old Brazilian who died during a flight from Sao Paulo, and her death is now under investigation.
The woman’s cause of death is not known at this time.
An autopsy will be performed. The name of the female passenger wasn’t immediately released.
