Black Lives Matter protesters spit, stomp on flag outside Wisconsin Trump rally, Corey Stingley death called hate crime
While a bystander claimed the protest was largely in response to a black student being choked out by three white men, outside of Donald Trump’s Sunday rally in West Allis, Wisconsin, several Black Lives Matter supporters trampled and spit on the American flag while shouting profanities.
In a clip from InfoWars, protesters stated that the “red, white and blue — this s**t is the new swastika….“F**k this flag. F**k this country,” one man explained. “It’s hypocritical.”
The Black Lives Matter supporters stomped, spit and tread upon the flag, chanting “Black power!” and “We here cuz black power in this muff**ka, man. Yeah, yeah, f**k this flag! Yeah!”
“I don’t give a f**k where the cops at. We don’t need cops. Y’all need the cops. We don’t need cops.”
“Why don’t you take you take yo dog home and finish f**kin’ it like you do every night!”
The West Allis teenager, Corey Stingley back in 2012. Stingley died two years ago after he was caught shoplifting and was held down by customers. When police arrived, he wasn’t breathing, and he died of brain damage. The family sought legal action, calling the incident a hate crime.
Milwaukee County prosecutors said witness information never revealed evidence of a hate crime.
“I don’t think the DA considered if there was a hate crime or not,” said Craig Stingley, the victim’s father.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney decided this week not to file any charges. The victim’s father asked the U.S. Attorney’s Office to file a civil rights case.
In a statement, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said the information Craig Stingley provided regarding the death of Corey Stingley was insufficient for them to determine the existence of possible criminal civil rights violations.
